Guardian of the Golden Apple

It's a minotaur!!! >:3

This is a contest entry for *Eiravati's contest. In my head it was going to be epic, but yeah stuck on the background... I put quite a bit of detail on the minotaur as well. Can't draw blood either XD


The Picture:
I have used Greek mythology as my inspiration for the picture. I only got to study it for a term when I was about 7 in Primary school but I really enjoyed it
Instead of a golden fleece (from Jason & the Argonauts) I have replaced it with an apple for the sake of the contest and used the minotaur as it is my favourite creature (minotaur needs more love!) Why is the symbol pi on its belt? I had to include a symbol, it is a Greek one and I still enjoy certain aspects of maths despite it being so evil XD I've even memorised it as much as this: 3.141592653... Promise I never looked that up, my friend & I made a song up about it (sad) XD

Anyway after looking at the other entries so far this doesn't deserve to win, but it was fun to do something different ^_^
